We regret to announce that there are some host cities outside Japan which decided to cancel the JLPT July 2021 due to the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
This decision was made after careful consideration of the circumstances such as the number of people infected, health regulations, and the need for the safety of examinees and other people concerned.
We would very much appreciate your understanding.

We have announced cancellation of the JLPT July 2021 in some host cities outside Japan by marking〇(circle with cross-out line ) at “List of Overseas Test Cities and Local Host Institutions”.
The host cities which decided to cancel the test after the latest update are as follows.
