360,000 in 62 Countries and Regions to Take the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test
The JLPT in 2012 (December) will be held on December 2.
This time, 360,000 applicants in 62 countries and areas will take the JLPT test.

1. Test Date:Sunday, December 2, 2012
2. Test Sites:201 cities in 61 countries and regions abroad, 42 prefectures in Japan
3. Test Levels: N1～N5
4. Number of Applicants：Over 356,000 people (Approximately 284,000 abroad and 73,000 in Japan)
・New countries for the JLPT：Iran, Israel
・New cities for the JLPT：Ann Arbor, Houston (U.S.A), Astana (Kazakhstan), Jerusalem (Israel), Perm (Russia), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Tehran (Iran), and Aomori, Miyazaki (Japan)
