360,000 in 62 Countries and Regions to Take the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

The JLPT in 2012 (December) will be held on December 2.
This time, 360,000 applicants in 62 countries and areas will take the JLPT test.

-December 2012 JLPT-
1. Test Date:Sunday, December 2, 2012
2. Test Sites:201 cities in 61 countries and regions abroad, 42 prefectures in Japan
3. Test Levels: N1~N5
4. Number of Applicants:Over 356,000 people (Approximately 284,000 abroad and 73,000 in Japan)
・New countries for the JLPT:Iran, Israel
・New cities for the JLPT:Ann Arbor, Houston (U.S.A), Astana (Kazakhstan), Jerusalem (Israel), Perm (Russia), Santiago de Compostela (Spain), Tehran (Iran), and Aomori, Miyazaki (Japan)
